His and Hers

His quiet,
was like the yellow sunset,
filled with intimacy flavoured laughs,
and the warmth of duvets wrapped around

It was the calm that shrouded a heart,
lost in a stare with orange dancing flames
and the melody of their crackling.

His quiet,
pulled from her innards, the sigh
that sent welded shoulder into a slumber;
their curve running across the horizon.

His quiet,
calmed the shiver and tremble;
the sway that steadily rocked her sanity
from her, who cried

His quiet
shrouded her shoulders in [his] calm,
and there, was her composure

Her quiet,
was the tale of a troubled heart
finding [her] rest.
